For 25 years, the field service management made possible by audius has always been a step ahead of the game. As Microsoft’s first field service partner in the German-speaking countries, we utilize Microsoft HoloLens in technical field services.

audius.CRM Mobile Service interfaces directly with HoloLens through an app from one of our partners, Zühlke Engineering. This makes it possible to take advantage of mixed reality scenarios, which significantly increase technician efficiency in a number of ways:

  • Direct on-site support from office-based experts
  • Visualization of 3D models, including manuals for devices, machines, and other equipment
  • Direct availability of all mobile client functions in Microsoft HoloLens

Better yet, none of this requires an additional mobile device; technicians can handle all of the work steps involved using Microsoft HoloLens.

We recently became a member of Business Network International, the most successful platform for professional networking, which currently has over 7,500 chapters and more than 200,000 active members in 65 countries around the world. audius empolyees Paderborn

audius GmbH expands further.

Following the opening of the company’s location in Hungary in 2011, the new location in Paderborn was opened by the management on October 5 of this year.

Its main activities will be in the area of incident management in 1st and 2nd-level support for storage products. In addition, staff will handle tasks such as performance analyses, administration support, system health checks, and proactive monitoring and reporting.

Tailored workshops and training will also be offered at the Paderborn location.

Weinstadt, September 6, 2016 – Effective immediately, audius GmbH will be working strategically with Ambit AG of Switzerland. This partnership is to combine audius’s solutions and expertise in field service management with Ambit’s own solution for wealth relationship management.

audius GmbH is a leading midsize IT and software company with over 25 years of experience. It offers a range of software solutions for field service management, business process mobilization, and system integration along with professional, high-quality IT services and solutions to customers throughout Europe.

Ambit AG is a seasoned consultancy in every aspect of customer relationship management, including full implementations of CRM solutions. Its comprehensive private banking solution (WRM) represents the new industry standard in wealth management.

A strong collaboration
These two companies are set to begin cooperating in a more strategic manner, particularly in field service management and wealth relationship management.
In Ambit AG, audius GmbH now has a strong partner when it comes to marketing its solutions in Switzerland.

The German company is also looking to expand its solution portfolio, however. “These days, it’s no longer about having a standalone CRM system; you need multiple integrated applications that are available in the cloud. In that sense, the different services and the specific backgrounds of our two companies complement each other perfectly,” reports Klaus Bürg, managing director of audius GmbH. “That means our customers will benefit from having their solutions covered from every angle.”

Meanwhile, Ambit AG will also gain a number of advantages from the partnership. “Customer care and field service management is a very intriguing topic for a lot of organizations,” adds managing director Clemens Thaler. “All the expertise audius offers in Microsoft products and solutions will also be highly beneficial to our clients.”

Hacker Summer School with Joerg Simon

On 22th and 23th of August, the Design Academy mAHS (media Academy - Hochschule Stuttgart) organizes a two-day training for pupils and students: The Hacker Summer School.

Our IT security expert and Black Shield Award winner Joerg Simon will show the students how a hacker thinks and acts. The focus is on points within the company and at home, which are at risk of attack. In addition Joerg will point out the approach, how security gaps in apps such as WhatsApp or Pokémon GO can be hacked.

audius supports the Clean Water Project

Since the end of 2013, we have been supporting Clean Water e.V., an organization that promotes access to potable water in emerging countries.

Because we maintain close links to India through our Security & Audit Services business unit, providing on-site help for the people of the country is a subject that is close to our heart.

The aim of the project is to make lasting improvements to the drinking water supply by working hand in hand with the villagers.

This approach is complemented by another partner on the ground, United for hope e.V., which contributes a holistic vision of development – including supporting the local school and individual students, raising awareness of the issue of hygiene and cleanliness, improving street lighting in the village by introducing solar lamps, and installing toilets. The issue of empowering women also plays an important role.

We are already seeing the first successes: A water treatment system with a daily capacity of some 10,000 liters has been installed. This entailed building a “water house” and sinking a well. To distribute the drinking water, we purchased our first vehicle – a motorized tricycle, which is used to deliver the drinking water canisters to the villagers.

IHK certificate for our 25th company anniversary

Steffen Kögel, head of division of the IHK-District Chamber, presented our company founders Rainer Francisi, Franz Honner, Udo Schäfer and Peter Schiek, on the occasion of our 25th company anniversary, the honorary certificate for achievements in benefits for the domestic economy.

The audius GmbH was founded in 1991 in Schwaikheim with business focus on sales of software and hardware.

By now, our company provides over 250 employees, worldwide project locations and is one of the leading middle-sized IT and software companies in Germany.

Also in the future, we will continue to develop – together with our customers and employees.

Annette Bentfeld receives Best Expert Award

At the 14th Best Management Practice Kongress held by SERVIEW GmbH, our own service management expert Annette Bentfeld received the Best Expert Award in the “Service Strategy” category.

A jury of specialists had nominated the most successful 100 ITIL® experts and 100 PRINCE2® experts from the 2015 training year for this prestigious award.

The Best Expert Award is typically conferred on those who have completed at least 100 class hours and up to 12 hours of exams, which reflects a level of dedication worthy of recognition.

Microsoft Convergence 2015

As Microsoft’s new strategic partner for service solutions, audius was at this year’s Microsoft Convergence to present the new audius.CRM Mobile Service: a holistic software solution for mapping service processes based on Dynamics CRM's FieldOne. International exhibition visitors, partners, and at last but not least, Microsoft employees were able to see the full service process at the audius booth.

Great interest was aroused by the comprehensive provision of information in service management itself, as well as by visualized planning, and in particular, the mobile technician client. The diverse application potential of the mobile client was complemented by demonstration of special applications in the area of augmented reality and measurement data transfer.

All in all, Convergence 2015 in Barcelona was a very successful event. See you next year!

This year the audius staff will take part in the AOK (health insurance company) company run on September 16th in Waiblingen, Germany. What counts above all is the common experience and not best times and winning. Not only the personal fitness and wellness is being strenghtenes but the community among each other.
